Every material carries a worldview: what we extract, what we value, whose labor we see, and what we are willing to leave behind. But a worldview is not evidence.

Responsible product decisions rest on things you can test and verify—performance, supplier behavior, cost, resilience, and what happens to the product at end of life. When those are considered together, innovation becomes real rather than rhetorical.

The discipline is refusing to publish a claim the evidence can’t support. That restraint is what earns trust from customers, suppliers, and the teams building the product.
